Job Description:

Pragmatic Solutions, the iGaming Player Account Management platform, is looking for a Compliance Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Head of Legal and Regulatory Compliance, the Compliance Manager will play an essential role supporting the business in its key regulated jurisdictions. As the main point of contact for stakeholders in the Operations, Commercial, Product and Technology Teams, the successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring Pragmatic Solutions services and products are compliant with all local regulations and requirements.
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for advising on licensing requirements, new features or enhancements, new third-party content integrations, regulatory reporting requirements and dealing with day-to-day queries relating to our business operations around the world.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Point of Contact: The main point of contact with the regulator and within Pragmatic Solutions for any questions and issues relating to regulatory compliance and resolving any of these issues to the satisfaction of both parties.
  •  Governance: Ensuring that Pragmatic Solutions is compliant with all regulatory requirements set by the relevant authorities. Keep abreast of relevant legislation, regulations and compliance changes and advise on any potential impact and assist with development of action plans as required.
  • Implementation of Policies & Procedures: Developing and implementing policies and procedures throughout Pragmatic Solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Research and Analysis: Verifying that product specifications are consistent with the regulatory requirements for the relevant jurisdictions. Research and analysis of new jurisdictions and compliance subjects.
  •  Problem Solving: Identifying solutions to compliance issues and looking to implement improvements to existing prior to discussing with external parties.
  •  Internal relationships: Internal operational working relationships include: Legal, Commercial, Product, Technology and Operational Teams. Liaise with various departments and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • External relationships: Operational working relationships include: clients (existing and potential) Regulators, external legal advisors, and third-party product and software providers.
  • Assist and support: Assist the Head of Legal and Compliance, the management team and relevant departments with compliance and regulatory queries.
  •  Promote: Promote compliance within the business and solve problems as required.
  • Training and audit: Assist with the company compliance with any gambling license conditions and/or codes of practice through providing regular internal audits and training sessions.
  • Reporting: Assist with the submission of timely and high-quality regulatory returns and other required reports.
  • Licensing: Assist with license applications and renewals. Assist and support clients of Pragmatic Solutions who apply for gambling license. Full understanding of the licensing requirements for operators and software suppliers in a variety of jurisdictions.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in Compliance, Internal Control, Internal Audit, or a related area
  • 4+ years of relevant post qualified experience (“PQE”) experience
  • Experience with gambling products, gambling companies or regulators.
  •  At least degree qualified in a management, business, technical or legal subject.
  • Experience with remote gambling companies or regulatory bodies.
  •  Knowledge of AML legislation desirable
  • A basic understanding of corporate documentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Inquisitive mind and excellent attention to detail
  • Approachable, assured and adaptable
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, work under pressure and use own initiative
