Press Release
Pragmatic Solutions iGaming Platform Provider Shortlisted at Vixio Global Regulatory Awards 2026
Pragmatic Solutions, the enterprise iGaming platform and Player Account Management (PAM) technology provider, has secured four finalist nominations across three categories at the Vixio Global Regulatory Awards 2026.
The company is shortlisted for the Award for Commitment to Compliance by a Supplier and Compliance Team of the Year - Supplier. Angela Roderick and Christopher Lottering are also individually shortlisted for Compliance Professional of the Year.
The supplier and team nominations bring attention to two closely connected aspects of Pragmatic Solutions’ approach: building regulatory requirements into its platform technology and providing the specialist expertise needed to implement and maintain them. For operators, this combination supports market readiness, ongoing regulatory change and audit preparation.
Commitment to compliance across the iGaming platform
Pragmatic Solutions’ entry for the Award for Commitment to Compliance by a Supplier sets out how compliance informs its platform architecture, product development and client delivery.
The PAM platform provides the central technology layer through which operators manage player accounts and core operational processes. Native functionality and pre-integrated services support requirements such as Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, anti-money laundering (AML) measures, self-exclusion and regulatory reporting.
Its open architecture allows operators to integrate specialist tools and services suited to their markets, while retaining a consistent platform foundation. This is particularly relevant to established operators managing multiple brands and jurisdictions, where local requirements must be addressed without unnecessarily fragmenting the wider technology estate.
Compliance is supported by shared processes across Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Client Services. Regulatory obligations inform technical requirements and implementation decisions, helping teams identify issues early and reduce avoidable rework during development and certification.
The nomination also documents Pragmatic Solutions’ transition to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, supporting its information security governance and audit readiness.
Compliance Team of the Year nomination highlights regulatory delivery
The Compliance Team of the Year - Supplier nomination focuses on the work of Pragmatic Solutions’ Legal and Compliance Team in translating changing regulatory requirements into practical delivery plans.
The team’s regulatory intelligence programme includes weekly market updates and structured monitoring of developments across jurisdictions. Its Compliance Business Analysis process brings regulatory impact assessments into product development, with a formal compliance approval gate before engineering delivery.
Compliance workbooks, audit procedures and a central Compliance Tracker provide visibility of requirements, implementation deadlines and delivery risks. These processes help coordinate internal teams, clients, testing laboratories and certification providers around documented expectations.
Brazil provides a practical example. As described in the award submission, the team coordinated responses to regulatory instructions small implementation windows. This required regulatory interpretation, technical assessment and delivery coordination within compressed timescales.
The team also manages company-wide compliance training, including compulsory Vixio courses covering areas such as gambling advertising regulation, data protection, player protection, safer gambling and anti-money laundering. This extends regulatory awareness beyond the specialist compliance function to the people developing and supporting the platform.
Individual recognition for Angela Roderick and Christopher Lottering
Two members of the team are also finalists for Compliance Professional of the Year.
Angela Roderick, Technical & Audit Compliance Manager, has developed compliance governance processes, internal audit methodologies and workbooks that support regulatory delivery throughout the product lifecycle. Her work connects regulatory interpretation with technical implementation and audit readiness.
Christopher Lottering, Head of Technical Compliance, translates regulatory obligations into testable, auditable platform requirements. His work brings together Legal, Product and Engineering teams and supports clients through technical compliance, certification and market-entry processes.
Their individual nominations sit alongside the company and team shortlists, highlighting the specialist contribution behind Pragmatic Solutions’ compliance-led platform delivery.
Supporting operators in regulated iGaming markets
For operators assessing an iGaming platform provider, compliance capability has implications throughout the relationship, from initial market entry to subsequent product changes and regulatory updates.
Pragmatic Solutions’ approach combines configurable technology with documented governance and specialist support. The aim is to help operators implement jurisdiction-specific requirements efficiently, maintain audit readiness and develop their businesses on a platform that can adapt as obligations evolve.
The Vixio Global Regulatory Awards 2026 ceremony will take place on 18 November at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms. Pragmatic Solutions congratulates Angela, Christopher and the wider team on their finalist nominations
